The castle of Saix rises above the town of Saix, dominating a cliff near the Vinalopó river.
The castle of Saix has undergone various construction phases to reach the appearance we see today. Many authors believe that its current structure is from the 14th century, although there was already an alcázar in the same place during the Muslim period that was also referred to as Saix. The oldest part of the castle is the northern area, and the most modern corresponds to the Tribute Tower.
