In 1906, Pablo Picasso arrived by steam train at the Guardiola de Berguedà station. From there, he took the royal road to Montclar, where he spent a summer. During this stay, he painted some of his most renowned works.
Currently, the royal road traveled by Picasso from Guardiola to Bellver de Cerdanya has been restored. With his stay in Montclar, we currently find an interpretation center dedicated to his figure.
