The Colony of Santa Eulalia is a hamlet located between the municipalities of Sax and Villena, at an altitude of 480 meters above sea level. The dividing line between the boundaries of both municipalities is formed by Salinas street; to the north it corresponds to Villena and to the south it corresponds to Sax. Its construction began at the end of the 19th century as a result of the colonization law of 1868 and within the framework of utopian socialism, and today it is semi-abandoned, with many of the main buildings in an advanced state of deterioration.
