De Kolonie van Santa Eulalia[1] is een gehucht dat ligt tussen de gemeente Sax en die van Villena, op 480 m boven zeeniveau.[2] De grens tussen de gemeenten wordt gevormd door de Salinasstraat; naar het noorden behoort het tot Villena en naar het zuiden tot Sax. De bouw begon eind 19e eeuw naar aanleiding van de koloniewet van 1868 en binnen het kader van het utopisch socialisme. Tegenwoordig is het semi-verlaten, met veel van de belangrijkste gebouwen in een vergevorderde staat van verval.[3]
