Rubalcaba is a village in Cantabria belonging to the municipality of Liérganes, and it is also a surname originating from the same place. Rubalcaba is two kilometers away from Liérganes and had 156 registered inhabitants in 2008. It has a Baroque architectural ensemble of interest including the Miera-Rubalcaba house. On the wall of this estate, there is a cross known as the Cruz de Rubalcaba, built in 1712 and declared a Cultural Heritage Site in 1994. It also has the church of Santa María de la Blanca.
