The Masma is a river in the province of Lugo, Galicia, that flows into the Cantabrian Sea forming the estuary of Foz. It originates at O Cadramón, in the municipality of O Valadouro, in the heart of the O Xistral mountain range. It runs for 46 kilometers passing through the municipalities of Abadín, Alfoz, Mondoñedo, Lourenzá, and Barreiros before entering Foz, where it flows between the beaches of A Rapadoira and Altar.
