The cemetery is located in the ruins of the Church of the Savior El Salvador. It is considered one of the most beautiful in Spain ,
The church burned down during the war of independence .
The tower , which was restored in 1722, has been preserved; the central dome of the church and the sacristy can also be seen.
The layout of the cemetery is irregular and small. The shape of the tombs varies from the oldest niches embedded in the old walls of the church, through some graves in the ground and old niches, to the modern construction of niches in recent years.
