Built from 1901 to 1904 in grey sandstone and in neo-Romanesque style, on the Jardin des Amours at the end of Place de la Comédie, the Temple Neuf contrasts picturesquely with the classical architecture of the Opera House. Illuminated at nightfall, it is then magnified and reflected in the Moselle, offering one of the most beautiful night views of the city.
