With an altitude of 1364 meters, the Hohneck is the third highest mountain of the Vosges in France after the Grand Ballon and the Storkenkopf. It lies on the border of the departments of Haut-Rhin and Vosges. The GR5 runs over the top.
On the mountain there is a mountain hut with restaurant and shop.
