Avec une altitude de 1364 mètres, le Hohneck est la troisième montagne la plus haute des Vosges en France, après le Grand Ballon et le Storkenkopf. Il se situe à la frontière des départements du Haut-Rhin et des Vosges. Le GR5 passe au sommet.
Sur la montagne, il y a un refuge avec restaurant et boutique.
