Located in the heart of the battlefields and in the center of Albert, a city that symbolizes the First World War, this museum, whose entrance is located at the foot of the basilica, retraces the life of soldiers in the trenches during the offensive of July 1, 1916. About fifteen alcoves and showcases are installed in a 250 meter long underground passage used as an air raid shelter during the Second World War. Sound effects, images and lights plunge the visitors into the daily life of these soldiers. The exit is in the public garden.
