In the heart of a charming wine town, the stronghold of Lazarus of Schwendi, whose legend says that he brought back from his trip to Hungary the famous "Tokay", now called Pinot Gris, this gourmet address is a must.
The kitchen brigade is led by Marie, a young, dynamic and talented chef. The authentic and elegant setting, the stone walls and the ceiling with exposed beams reflect the Alsatian style.
Marie is the granddaughter of a winegrower and suggests to her clients wines from the family estate and a wide range of wines from French vineyards.
The proposed menus, market, seafood and gourmet are tempting. The pumpkin cream is delicious, the sea bass filet a la plancha is tasty and the vegetable purées are tasty. After the starter and the hearty main course, save a little room for dessert and enjoy a crunchy vanilla mille-feuille or a Grand Marnier flavored orange dessert.
In summer, lunch or dinner on the terrace on a small square, next to a magnificent Vosges sandstone fountain, is a real delight.
