The Hotel Au Vieux Morvan is a gastronomic hotel-restaurant located in Château-Chinon, in the Morvan region, within the Nièvre department, in Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. The politician François Mitterrand is historically linked to this place.
The family-run two-star hotel-restaurant has historically been owned by two sisters and their husbands, Bernard and Raymonde Menuel and Jean and Ginette Chevrier. After training as a maître d'hôtel at the Élysée Palace, Jérôme Menuel, the grandson of the original co-owners, took over the business in 2002 and modernized it.
