Le Pollet is a district of Dieppe located in the valley, on the right bank of the mouth of the coastal river l'Arques which flows into the English Channel. It is the district of the sailors of Dieppe. Its inhabitants are called poltais -aises and, when used adjectively, the term denotes culinary recipes based on fish.
