Port de Soussans

To get to the port of Soussans, you have to follow the fairly straight road between the vineyards before reaching the marshes and the banks of the Gironde.
You will then reach a small, quiet and picturesque area with a privileged view of the estuary: the Green Island and the North Island in the line of sight offer a natural and daily spectacle. Depending on the weather or even the season, each day is a new picture to discover.
You can take advantage of this moment for a sweet break at one of the tables dedicated to picnics.
If your gaze naturally turns towards the water, you only need to open your field of vision a little more to observe the Fumadelle castle (on the right of the port) which tells us the moving story of the island of Fumadelle attached to the coast.
