With a surface area of 115 hectares, the park of the Château de Chantilly is the result of several creations carried out according to the fashions of each period: the French garden designed by André Le Nôtre in the 17th century, the Anglo-Chinese garden at the end of the 18th century and the English garden in the 19th century
It thus offers a unique testimony to the relationship between man and nature in the West for over three centuries.
Water features, ponds, canals and a wooded park with statues, a factory and a hamlet, are built around the monumental ensemble consisting of the 16th-century Château des Montmorency and the 19th-century Château du Duc d'Aumale (a historic monument and a remarkable garden).
