Description

The Wet Zone of the Mill extends over 92 hectares and presents a great diversity of natural environments. Wet meadows, swampy willow groves, old woodland, limestone lawn, pond and reed beds provide a habitat for remarkable flora and fauna. The site is home to 82 species of nesting birds, including protected species. It is also possible to observe more than a hundred plants. The biological and ecological value of this area is recognised and it is classified as a regional nature reserve.
