This chapel was built in the 18th century. It is the former chapel of the Jesuit College, which moved to Verdun in 1570, and is dedicated to Saint-Nicolas, as it was built on the site of the former medieval hospital Saint-Nicolas de Gravière. It is also called Buvignier, like the adjoining college, in memory of a great Verdun family.
