De Smakerij is a unique concept, located in the former customs office, at the foot of the nature reserve "Het Vijverbroek". Here walking, cycling, the summer terrace and delicious food merge flawlessly. You will be warmly welcomed by the family. Delicious dishes (small & large menu) are prepared by the patron himself. Fresh fish dishes are the specialty of the house. From here, several hiking trails of Rivierpark Maasvallei depart. De Smakerij also has its own walking routes and, if desired, also makes tailor-made routes, possibly combined with food.
