Built in 1860 by city architect Hubert Fisbacq, the former Halle aux Blés was completely remodeled into an Italian-style theater in 1906.
Listed on the supplementary inventory of historic monuments, the Saint-Dizier theater has undergone extensive renovation and upgrading, without losing any of its original character. The decor from the 1920s has been restored. The entrance is adorned with 19th-century cast-iron sculptures, and the balcony is from the Fonderies de Saint-Dizier.
Equipped with high-performance stage equipment and an enlarged orchestra pit, it now seats 334 spectators!
