Deze voormalige korenmarkt werd in 1860 gebouwd door de architect Hubert Fisbacq en werd in 1906 volledig omgebouwd tot een theater in Italiaanse stijl.
Het theater Saint-Dizier, dat is opgenomen in de aanvullende inventaris van historische monumenten, heeft een grote upgrade en renovatie ondergaan zonder iets van zijn oorspronkelijke karakter te verliezen. Het decor uit de jaren 1920 is gerestaureerd. De ingang is versierd met 19e-eeuwse gietijzeren beelden en het balkon is afkomstig uit de gieterijen van Saint-Dizier.
Uitgerust met high-performance podiumapparatuur en een vergrote orkestbak, biedt het nu plaats aan 334 toeschouwers!
