Construido en 1860 por el arquitecto Hubert Fisbacq, este antiguo mercado de maíz se transformó completamente en un teatro de estilo italiano en 1906.
Inscrito en el inventario suplementario de Monumentos Históricos, el teatro de Saint-Dizier ha sido objeto de una importante remodelación y renovación sin perder ni un ápice de su carácter original. Se ha restaurado la decoración de los años veinte. La entrada está adornada con esculturas de hierro fundido del siglo XIX y el balcón procede de las fundiciones de Saint-Dizier.
Equipado con material escénico de alto rendimiento y un foso de orquesta ampliado, ¡ahora tiene capacidad para 334 espectadores!
