Following the destruction of the village during the Second World War, the church was rebuilt in 1961 in a very contemporary and original style with a terraced roof. The bell tower is detached from the church and has a very modern shape. The Swiss artist Jean Weinbaum created a stained-glass window there with the Ateliers Loire, made of antique glass and lead, entirely painted and fired in the fire.
