Gisèle and Jean-Adrien welcome you to Montfort-en-Chalosse, in the south of the Landes. The name of their gîte is directly linked to the commune since it is a Bastide, built in the 13th century. Discover it through a tour available at the Tourist Office, located in the village. Did you know that Wednesday is market day? Once you have done your shopping, go down to the Chalosse Museum (an agricultural estate as in the 19th century). You will pass over a bridge overlooking the Voie Verte de Chalosse. Forbidden to motorised vehicles, it can take you to Mugron (city route with the free Tèrra Aventura application, Rouge Garance art gallery, cellar...).
The gîte they offer is attached to their house but has an independent entrance. It is a former doctor's office. Put your nose in the library, it's in the bathroom !
