Creation of utilitarian and decorative pieces in Raku. The aim is to highlight the contrast between glazed and smoky earth. To achieve this, Renaud Chatenet meticulously decorates his pieces with textures that juxtapose smooth parts. He uses two different glazes: a transparent base that gives the crackled white typical of Raku, and a copper oxide glaze that gives reflections ranging from green to copper and sometimes "rainbow" colors
