The beach is located between the Vieux Port and Port de Garavan , along Quai Bonaparte in front of the old town
Unlike most beaches in Menton, it is not made up of large pebbles, but fine gravel grains mixed with sand , making it comfortable for (barefoot) walking and playing.
The esplanade, renovated in 2019, features 12 pergolas (terrace covers) and 4 drinking fountains, as well as showers and toilets.
