Prime minister Lord Palmerston was also named "lord Cupid" because his appetite for women. Although he had ill-fitting false teeth, this minister was irresistible for women. He fathered 7 illegitimate children and some sources state that he once tried to rape one of Queen Victoria's ladies while he visited Windsor Castle. Henry John Temple, 3rd Viscount Palmerston, lived from 1784 till 1865.
