The villa and farm of Petrognano are a historic complex in the municipality of Capannori, located at via di Petrognano 13.
The via di Petrognano divides the two nuclei, one aristocratic and the other agricultural, of the rural settlement of Petrognano, made up of several buildings and about 150 hectares of land. The villa itself, formerly belonging to the Donati and Borromei families and now to the counts Gambaro, dates back to the 17th century, and has a rectangular layout, facing west onto an English lawn, and east onto two panoramic terraces, one of which hosts an Italian garden. The garden features a couple of fountains with statues and masks, and a shed that was perhaps once a family chapel.
