Description

Where the route makes a slight bend, the clumsy appearance of the IJsselcentrale, also known as Centrale Harculo, looms very close. The power station used to be located in the city, but it was moved here after the Second World War. The IJsselcentrale has been supplying Zwolle and the surrounding area with electricity since 1914. The plant originally had five chimneys. In 2005 the plant was refurbished, so that it can last for the time being.
