The meteorite Uden LL7 struck in this area on June 12, 1840 (between Uden and Volkel).
A few meters away from a group of farm workers, an object crashed onto a dirt road with a loud bang and a growing screeching sound.
It kicked up a cloud of dust and made a shallow impact pit. The meteorite, weighing approximately 720 grams and completely covered with a melting crust, is a stony meteorite of the chondrite type.
