The wind grist mill De Vlijt is located on the Harnjesweg in Wageningen.It is a round stone scaffolding mill, covered with reeds, built in 1879 with a flight of 22.30 meters. The mill has three pairs of griststones. The blades are jibs with brake valves, so that the mill can grind more efficiently and even in strong winds. The mill was restored in 1978 and returned to operation in 1979 as a professional grinding tool. In the shop area, flour products, yeast, baking tins, legumes and dried fruits are sold. The owner is the municipality of Wageningen. Molenaar has been Hans since 1976 Dobbe.De building regulations of the municipality of Wageningen stipulate that no higher than the lower point of a vertically standing blade may be built within a radius of 100 meters. In 2009, the construction plans for the nearby site of the former malthouse were adjusted accordingly.
