Description

The Catharina Chapel dates from the eleventh/twelfth century and is the oldest hall church in the Netherlands. The Catharina Chapel was the church of Lemiers until 1901.
Around 1975 there were plans to give the chapel a church function again. Hans Truijen painted the entire interior in 1978, in an expressionist style.
The combination of centuries-old chapel and modern paintings is special and will move you.
