't Harde and Groeve Oostermeent together cover almost 33 hectares. The nature reserve is broadly bordered by Meentzoom, Bergweg, cycle path towards Randweg and Blaricummerweg. 't Harde was transferred by the municipality to the Goois Nature Reserve in 2008 under the conditions that the use as an overflow to the nature reserve is maintained. It must also remain available for walking dogs and for festivities. For example, horse events are held on the Ziekenweitje on the Meentzoom.
