Wingbergerhoeve

The Wingbergerhoeve is located along the marl land route between Epen and Vaals. The Hoeve belongs to the castle-like because of the (former) moats around the house (16th century). At the Wingbergerhoeve is the well-known ice cream stand. The Burgundian way of life of the Limburger finds its expression here. The ice cream portions are therefore not tightly measured but are always spacious. The ice cream with fresh fruit from the region is highly recommended.

The fresh fruit is also sold separately and also processed into tasty local products depending on what the season offers. A selection of local products includes strawberry, plum, raspberry and gooseberry jam. The jams consist of fresh fruit and 33% jelly sugar. In addition, the company's own fruit is also used to make apple, pear syrup (in Limburgish 'chamois'). The syrup is still boiled in old copper kettles. The syrup is made from pure fruit without any additives.
The Wingbergerhoeve is easy to reach by car and motorbike (there is ample parking) and is located along numerous walking and cycling routes.
