Landgoed 't Nijendal, between Diepenveen and Olst, has long been part of Groot Hoenlo's possessions. Several old tenant farms are located on 't Nijendal, such as Wetermans and Holtermans.

Erve Sogebrink is mentioned as early as 1394.
The current farm Zoogenbrink is originally about three hundred years old and will be restored to its former state as much as possible in 1985 with a yard and garden. Between 1975 and 1982 the estate was managed by Staatsbosbeheer.
