Church-Avezaath is richly endowed with (national and municipal) monuments. You will pass nine of them during the walk on the Dorpsstraat. If you come from the direction of Buren, it already starts at the characteristic crossroads Dorpsstraat/Woerd/Noordereinde. Here is still a beautiful old hand pointer. The beautiful farmhouse Steenakker (Noordereind 3) is hidden to the left of the triple jump. The stately country house Huize Teisterbant, (Dorpsstraat 29) dates from around 1800. The villa at number 27 dates from around 1925. Dorpsstraat 6 is a plastered block-shaped building from around 1860. Also worth seeing are the house numbers: 2 (school), 7 (farm) and villas 19, 21 and 25.
