This catering establishment (Oud Hulst) that you see here was the former warehouse (warehouse goods) of the Hulst station. If you look at the current building of the catering industry (Oud Hulst) and compare it with the former building, you can certainly recognize features of the old warehouse. The mt's freight transport was permanently stopped in the Dutch part in 1968.
What was transported by train:
Initially, the aim was to increase charleroi's coal sales, but on the other hand it also increased the sales area of Zeeland agricultural products. Finally, it also opened up the port of Terneuzen.

Wood from Russia, Sweden, Finland for the paper mill in Willebroek.
Sugar beets to the Sugar Factories in Moerbeke and Sas van Gent, among others.
Fruit (apples, pears, cherries) from Belgium via Terneuzen to London.
Wood via port Terneuzen for Clogs in the Waasland.
