The Capela de Nossa Senhora da Misericórdia dates from the 18th century , more precisely from the year 1749 according to the inscription on the architrave of the side portal.
On this south-facing side facade there is a roughly axial portal, crowned by a straight cornice connected by a moulding to a niche in which Our Lady of Mercy is crowned by angels.
