A visit to Porto is not included here : visiting this city in a period of 2 weeks would make the trip too difficult - it should be seen separately as a city trip.
First base: Villa Barro in Resende (highly recommended!):

- Lamego, the birthplace of Port wine but above all a sanctuary
- The beautiful gardens of Solar de Mateus and Vila Real
- City walk in the historic center of Guimarães , Cradle of the Nation and UNESCO World Heritage
Second base: Casa Rosanna in Arcos :
- Roman city of Braga and As a pilgrim to the Sanctuary of Bom Jesus do Monte
- Ponte de Lima , the oldest town in Portugal
- Costa Verde and the "Sacré-Cœur" of Viano do Castelo with its stunning panorama , declared the 3rd most beautiful view in the world by National Geographic Magazine.
- The bastions of the vesting city of Valença
- To the Santuário do Senhor do Socorro sanctuary and the watermills of Labruja
