La catedral es una antigua iglesia de obispo en estilo gótico, reconstruida tras la Primera Guerra Mundial, con las tumbas del obispo Jansenius y del Conde Robrecht de Bethune, el 'León de Flandes'.
Hay un hermoso altar lateral con retablo y la imagen milagrosa de Nuestra Señora de Thuyne.
La torre mide 100 m de altura y no es accesible.
El Lapidarium contiene antiguos restos de la parroquia de San Martín. El edificio del monasterio se puede visitar en el lado norte de la catedral.
Se puede visitar la catedral libremente, excepto durante los servicios religiosos y entre las 12:00 y las 14:00.
