Kolmont es un caserío en Haspengouw húmedo, en la provincia de Limburg. Durante el antiguo régimen, Kolmont era un municipio independiente, desde al menos el siglo XII perteneciente al Condado de Loon, que más tarde se incorporó al Principado de Lieja. Luego, Kolmont se fusionó con Overrepen y Ridderherk formando el municipio de Overrepen. En 1971, este municipio se unió a Jesseren y se creó un municipio fusionado que también recibió el nombre de Kolmont. En 1977, este municipio se dividió nuevamente, con Jesseren pasando al municipio fusionado de Borgloon, y Overrepen (con el caserío Kolmont) al municipio fusionado de Tongeren.
