La capilla de ladrillo se construyó siguiendo el modelo de la Casa Santa de Nazaret en el lugar de peregrinación Loreto. La vivienda del ermitaño está hecha parcialmente de ladrillo, pero principalmente en construcción de entramado de madera con relleno de arcilla. Además, hay un pequeño edificio de servicio. Asimismo, hay un Calvario del siglo XVIII en marga.
La celda es hoy en día un conjunto pintoresco, en medio de la naturaleza, por el que transcurren varias rutas de senderismo marcadas. También sigue siendo un lugar de peregrinación donde todavía se celebra una misa cada domingo a las 9:15 y donde se puede acudir los domingos por la tarde (de 14:00 a 18:30) al café “la antigua costumbre”.
