The brick chapel is built after the model of the Holy House of Nazareth in the pilgrimage site Loreto. The hermit's dwelling is only partially made of brick, but mainly in half-timbered construction with clay filling. In addition, there is a service building. Furthermore, there is an 18th-century Calvary mountain made of marl.
The hermitage is now a picturesque whole, situated in nature, along which several marked walking trails run. It is still a place of pilgrimage where there is still a mass celebration every Sunday at 9:15 AM and where visitors can go to the café "the old custom" on Sunday afternoons (from 2 PM to 6:30 PM).
