La plaza Fernand Cocq es una plaza animada de Ixelles. Se llamó primero plaza Léopold, luego plaza Comunale tras su ensanchamiento, y fue dedicada en 1920 al abogado Fernand Cocq, durante mucho tiempo concejal de Instrucción pública, alcalde de 1918 a 1921 y padre de la pintora Suzanne Cocq. También fue diputado, ministro de Justicia y alto dignatario de la francmasonería.
