El distrito de Hoboken puede presumir de algunas maravillosas zonas verdes y parques. El Parque Sorghvliedt es uno de ellos. El castillo homónimo en el parque se construyó entre 1745 y 1750. El propio parque atrae a los amantes del juego, a los deportistas y a los que buscan tranquilidad.
Un edículo encantador en el parque es la belvedere. Se encuentra en una colina en el borde sur del parque y tiene aproximadamente dos siglos de antigüedad. En el siglo XIX, funcionó como un edificio decorativo desde el cual se podía disfrutar de una hermosa vista del parque. Y eso sigue siendo así.
Maud Vanhauwaert tuvo aquí su residencia como poeta de la ciudad hasta principios de 2020. También creó un museo en el ala izquierda. La llave del Museo Más Pequeño del Mundo Con, Por Cierto, El Nombre Más Largo fue entregada a un artista.
