El parque solía ser un dominio de un castillo, el castillo en estilo rococó data del siglo XVIII. También la decoración del parque del castillo data de ese período. En el siglo XIX se construyó el notable belvedere, en la colina. El castillo fue convertido hace unos años en la casa del distrito de Hoboken. Los elementos más destacados en el diseño del parque son el sendero de hayas y el gran estanque. De la original fortificación solo se han conservado partes.
