Fundada en 1948 según el diseño de R. De Bruyn (ver inscripción en el zócalo de piedra) en memoria de los prisioneros políticos de Lier. Capilla de ladrillo con planta rectangular bajo un tejado a dos aguas truncado y voladizo con una cruz de hierro. Aberturas de muro con arco. Fachada trasera con pilastras en las esquinas y trenzados de muro; piedra de la fachada con el año 1948. Interior sobrio con figura de madera de Santa Rita por F. Rooms (actualmente desaparecida).
