La iglesia de San Francisco es una iglesia parroquial en el lugar de Merksem, que forma parte del municipio de Amberes, situada en la Bredabaan. Esta iglesia fue construida entre 1893 y 1896, en una época en la que Merksem se expandía enormemente y se urbanizaba como resultado de la expansión del área portuaria de Amberes hacia Merksem. La ampliación de la iglesia de San Bartolomé no fue suficiente y en 1890 se fundó una segunda parroquia en Merksem. Debido al esfuerzo del entonces alcalde Frans de l'Arbre, la iglesia fue dedicada a San Francisco. La iglesia fue construida según el diseño de Henri Blomme.
