Esta cruz de piedra se encuentra cerca del puente sobre el barranco y marca el lugar donde en 1808 un residente local, Onulphe Joseph Collard (de 44 años), murió trágicamente en una caída.
El lugar, conocido como Puits des Vaux o Trou Collard , tiene aproximadamente 30 metros de profundidad. No hay constancia documental de que Joseph Collard cayera en el pozo .
