La Bremen-Vegesacker Fischerei-Gesellschaft fue una pesquería de logger y existió desde 1895 hasta 1969. Durante un tiempo, fue la mayor sociedad de pesca de arenques de Europa.
Alemania importó en 1895 un total de 1.181.953 barriles de arenques en salmuera por un valor de aproximadamente 25.000.000 marcos. Para depender menos de las importaciones, surgieron en esa época sociedades de pesca de arenques en varios puertos costeros de Alemania. Así, el 31 de enero de 1895 también se fundó la Bremen-Vegesacker Fischerei-Gesellschaft AG.
